About

Hi, I’m Amber, founder of Calm Spaces, a boutique home organizing studio serving the Columbia River Gorge. I help people create homes that feel as good as they look.

I’ve apparently been an organizer for much longer than I realized. In past jobs, I’d catch myself getting distracted from the work I was actually hired to do because I was reorganizing the files, creating a better system for the office supply cabinet, and buying a decorative box to put renter’s checks in (I actually got in trouble for that one). I genuinely couldn’t resist making things work, and look, better.

My approach goes far beyond simply tidying up.

I take the time to understand what’s frustrating you about your space, help you work through difficult decisions about your belongings, and guide you through the decluttering process when you feel stuck or overwhelmed.

I create thoughtful, beautiful systems that are tailored to the way you actually live, not just systems that look good for a photo.

We collaborate throughout the entire process, so by the time we’re finished, your space feels easier to use, easier to maintain, and genuinely more peaceful.

I’m especially passionate about working with people who are navigating a time of change. A move, divorce, growing family, empty nesting, or simply a period of personal growth when the way you’ve been living no longer feels like it fits.

My favorite part is seeing the moment the weight starts to lift. It is not uncommon for clients to say they feel lighter.

I love getting those texts afterward. The ones telling me how relieved they feel, how much easier their home is to maintain, or how they’re actually enjoying coming home again.

That’s why I love what I do. I’m not just creating organized spaces. I’m helping people create a home that supports the life they’re living now.
